Middelwater Farm is situated just off the N1 on the R30 Brandfort Road (GPS coordinates, -28.914278, 26.326005), approximately 25km outside of Bloemfontein.

Jacques and Marica Strydom bought the farm in November 2017, with the vision of sharing this farm and farm life with Bloemfonteiners and people passing by.

Since 2017 the “Be Human” project on Middelwater Farm has developed offering visitors different accommodation,  activity and venue options thus sharing the farm and farm life with Bloemfonteiners and people passing by.”

GAME DRIVES & PREDATOR TOURS

A wide variety of wild animals and predators, such as Buffalo, Oryx, Springboks, Giraffes, Zebras, Ostriches, Lions, Hyenas, Leopards and many more can be viewed on our Game Drives and Predator Tours. Our national bird, The Blue Crane, can also be spotted.

GAME DRIVE VEHICLES
We have two options available:

10-seater open air vehicle;
16-seater Be Human bus.

TOUR OPTIONS
We have two tour options available:

Game Drives (which includes a Predator Tour, and is approximately 2 hours in duration);

Predator Tour Only (no Game Drive, and is approximately 1 hour in duration).

WEEK DAYS AND SUNDAYS
Both Game Drives & Predator Tours are available on these days;

A minimum of 8 people are required per game drive. (It doesn’t mean that you need to make a booking for 8 people, it is just important to note that the tour will only depart once the minimum required number of people are confirmed for that departure time);

Game Drives includes a cool drink or water.

SATURDAYS
Only Game Drives are available on Saturdays;

There are three tours on Saturdays, departing at 09h00, 11h30 & 14h00;

During summer months a fourth tour is added on busy days, which then depart at 16h00;

Please remember that the entrance fee to the Be Human Saturday Family Market will still be applicable.
