Product Description
De Uijlenes is a family farm that has been in the same family for 6 generations. Located in the picturesque Uilkraalvallei, near Gansbaai and Stanford, the farm features a range of accommodation options ranging from large farm houses for a large group of family or friends, or luxurious farm cottages for one or two couples.
Each house and cottage has wifi, indoor and outdoor braai facilities, wood burning hot tubs, self catering kitchen facilities and a smart TV. De Uijlenes also has conference and function facilities on site.
Our accommodation is available to rent out to couples, families and groups.
Our two accommodation options are as follows:
The Nightjar Cottage:
A cute, cosy cottage located in complete privacy on the farm near the Nightjar venue.
With indoor & outdoor fireplaces and a wood fired hot tub, free standing bath and an indoor/outdoor double shower, this cottage is the ultimate in luxury and romance.
Sleeping 4 people in 2 rooms, both ensuite, this is great for a family getaway, friends or only one couple. Provided during your stay is all linens, wood, blitz, coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, fluffy gowns and slippers.
The Nightjar Cottage is also used as the Bridal Suite and Honeymoon Suite by the couples getting married at the Nightjar venue. With hair and makeup stations, and a honeymoon turndown, this completes the experience of getting married here at De Uijlenes.
The Little Barn:
A cute wee modern barn kitted out for a couple that wish to relax and enjoy the quietness here at De Uijlenes within luxury.
With indoor & outdoor fireplaces and a wood fired hot tub, free standing bath and an indoor/outdoor double shower, this little barn is the ultimate in luxury and romance.
Provided during your stay are all linens, wood, blitz, coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, fluffy gowns and slippers, Wifi and Netflix.

Old Barn Venue Accommodation:
There are 20 rooms at the Old Barn & Forest reception venue. These are all within a few steps of the reception and outdoor fire area, so your guests can just roll into bed at the end of the festivities. These rooms consist of 6 x ensuite rooms and 14 x standard rooms.
N0nnetjie Uijlhuis:
The Nonnetjie Uil House is on the De Uijlenes farm, perched next to its own private dam with one of the best vistas out over the Uilkraal Vallei. The dam has boats, and is perfect for swimming and fishing on lazy summer days. The Nonnetjie Uil House has 12 ensuite rooms all with linen and towels supplied; sleeping groups of up to 42 people and is self catering. There is a large open plan kitchen/dining area with an indoor braai that leads out onto the stoep and outdoor braai area overlooking the dam. When booking the Nonnetjie Uil House, you get full exclusivity of the house, dam and surrounding lawn. The Nonnetjie Uil House must be booked by a group that is attending a wedding here at De Uijlenes and is available to either of the two venues here at De Uijlenes, just whomever books it first, gets it.
