Copperleigh Trout Cottages is located in the upper Dargle area of the beautiful Midlands of KZN, under the shadow of the majestic iNhlosane Mountain. Our fully functioning sheep and cattle farm will delight both young and old with our scenic views and fantastic fly fishing opportunities on our 10ha trout stocked Mavela Dam. We are also proud members of the hugely popular Midlands Meander, find us on Route 3.

Our establishment has two lovely self catering units to choose from: the two-story Lodge is a stunning  holiday home built overlooking the dam. It features an open-plan lounge, fully equipped kitchen and dining room. There are three bedrooms upstairs which can sleep up to 9, and there are 2.5 bathrooms.

The cozy log Cabin is built right on the waters edge. It is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic getaway to the countryside, and features luxuries such as a heated towel rail, electric blanket on the queen size bed and a fully equipped kitchen complete with modern appliances. The spacious verandah also gives you the best view of the dam and sunsets!

Daily rates include:

Complimentary Housekeeping (Mon-Sat).
Free access to the dam to fly fish – no additional rod fees for guests.
Complimentary WiFi.
All linens and shower towels provided.
A complimentary bundle of firewood is provided daily.
Free use of a Kayak and paddles for guests to use.
Scenic walks available on the farm, includes stunning farm scenery.

Day fishermen are also welcome for an additional fee. Bookings need to be made in advance.
