Die Melkstal is a Family Farm Lifestyle experience for the more discerning traveler. It has a beautiful north-facing view overlooking natural fynbos mountains and a swimming and fishing dam.  The ‘used to be dairy’ is now a spacious open plan modern living cottage.  The main bedroom has a king size (extra length) bed with a full en-suit bathroom, and a double-bed sleeper couch.  The lounge area has a long table and cozy fireplace, fully equipped kitchen with 2 additional three-quarter beds (all bed linen is 100% cotton) and an extra bathroom with a shower.  The semi-enclosed stoep with braai area walks out to the wood-fired hot / cold tub. Die Melkstal is ideal for a family break-away, any special occasion or romantic anniversary / honeymoon suite.

Swimming (dam / plunge pool), fishing (catch &release), hiking / nature walks, mountain bike trails, star gazing, trail running, bird watching. All single track trail permits for MTB / running is included in the cost.
